Luckenbach Ranch "Extreme Hunting at it's best"
The Luckenbach Ranch has been family owned since 1908 with a front gate located 3 miles east of Menard Texas on FM 2092 and runs 5.5 miles back to HWY 29. We offer top rated hunting for whitetail deer, fall turkey, spring turkey, dove, quail, and wild hog, but we also have many other ferments. Filmed guided hunts are available however you must release your rights to film so it can be sold for TV production. Call for pricing and available dates.

We offer 2-4 day custom packages on 1/3 of the ranch, and season family, group, or corporate packages on the rest. We offer RV water and power campsites a top a scenic 250 ft escarpment view overlooking wheat and grain fields loaded with game. Other lodging at the 110 year old family ranch house is also available with campfire wild game meals.
We advertise "Extreme Hunting" on our front sign because we have flying drone live video streaming scouting, GPS tracked champion hog, quail and tracking dogs. We only do a few hunts a year so we always produce extreme results...see photo gallery. Our first hunt of the year, three hunters got 8 bucks, 1 doe, 72 dove, 6 ducks, 5 quail, 1 hog, and missed a red fox in one weekend. Our hunter's said, 'If I didn't have the photos, no one would believe this."
We charge a trophy fee of $150 per 10 points of B & C class over 130. Most harvest are between 110 and 130 however up to a 23 point 200 class bucks have been taken. The largest deer harvested in the county for the year has been on our ranch 3 times.
The combination of limited well managed hunting recommended by top state biologist game surveys each year, feeding year round, attached grain fields, abundance of water located all over the ranch, and being the only low game fence for 12 miles east of town creating a funnel for deer migration makes our ranch produce "Extreme Hunting" results.
We are blessed with an abundance of both Bobwhite and Blue quail. We place quail habitats all over the ranch that provide year round feed, water, and shelter. Come work your bird dogs for the weekend however harvest is limited to biologist yearly counts.
We have surrounding ranches available for special desired packages such as wild hogs, dove, duck, or fishing.
